“Her deep Soulful voice was the stand out element of my song, in fact our collaboration “Let It Go” has been one of my best selling tracks of 2015, and one of my listener’s picks of the year. It wouldn’t have been so without her special touch”. Vitodito – A&R Armada Music, Label Owner Encanta, Spain
Ailsa lives with her Chilean husband and two young sons near Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park. After taking time out to start her family, she is now returning to entertaining and to promote her latest album, “To Have and To Hold You”.
Ailsa is the daughter of an English teacher and a Piano teacher. Growing up, she learned to play the saxophone, piano and then guitar. She was always happiest singing. On returning to the UK, she commenced a successful career as an entertainer, playing in hotels, restaurants and bars throughout the country.
As a child, Ailsa won prizes for poetry and prose. She often penned lyrics but it was over a decade before she gained the confidence to play her original songs in public. She has self-published three albums to date and has a modest but loyal online following receiving around 800 streams and downloads, globally, per month. Click here to listen.
